So I got a tattoo on the top of my head yesterday! By now I’m feeling fine without my dreadlocks (which crowned my head for 21 years) but I still felt I needed a new powerful Lid, and my friend @josephhaefstattooer was the right magician for this activation! He carved a piece based on my “Taita Inti” (Father Sun) painting, which will beautifully guard my dome for the rest of this incarnation. Summer is here! Yesterday was the solstice, and I’m so stoked to welcome this outdoors season of warmth and light! A lot of intense transformative energy in the air though, have you felt it? There’s a potent astrological composition in the heavens at play, pushing again for our personal and collective evolution. Any fellow sun worshipers out there? I recently finished this new canvas, “Taita Inti (Father Sun)”, which took me a month to paint. The sun is so crucial for me, I love it and it’s warming life energy. As with the Incas and ancient Egyptians (and many others), for me it is a symbol of the oneness creator “God”, which I usually include in many of my paintings. I took advantage of the good sunny energy of this summer to express this, along a lovely love affair with @molassess_ , a beautiful Leo (which is a sun sign) girl from the sunshine state, who paints many suns herself. Her specific shoutout is the heart on the third eye. But all things must pass, autumn is here, we said goodbye to each other, as to continue living our own separate art lives and are left with nothing but good memories and gratitude!
