It seemed that Kiwi had found themself in the wrong sort of company while asking the local Opalarians about what’s happening between the kingdoms.
Mu had overheard the chatter, something about “beating up the little green bean” while making her way down an alleyway, meeting face-to-face with a fence when she rushed to investigate. Ugh. Fingers curling around the smooth, silvery bars, she pressed her mustache against it and peeked to see what looked like plant person surrounded by three, maybe four nasty-looking individuals from the local neighbourhood.
Furrowing her brows, she scaled the fence and wormed her way into the situation - did I say wormed?
Nope, barged in fit better, with the way she kicked one of the fishier-looking individuals down, snatched up their sword, and skidded to a stop next to Kiwi before turning around and holding the weapon high into the air with a triumphant grin.
“You losers better get off this “bean’s” back, or else we’ll both make sure you end up being planted into the ground yourself!!”
Despite the harshness of her tone towards them, she looked up to Kiwi with a bright yet reassuring smile.
