Green and white, everywhere you can see, the pine forest so thick you cant tell if you are on the base or the near top of the hill, but it is at least, in its own right, serene.

shiro’s gaze softens as adam finally looks at him, taking the other in for a moment. relief is the first thing he feels, really. he’s relieved to know that adam isn’t really dead. relieved to know that one of the people he truly loved in this world was okay. he sighs softly and steps closer to  adam, reaching out to gently take the other’s hand in his. 

Though some would be under the impression that there were a lot of times that Soren had NO IDEA what he was doing and sometimes Soren would be inclined to agree with them but right now? Oh he was nothing but SURE AND CONFIDENT as he ran through his sword drills so conveniently within the eye line of his favorite visiting interpreter.

It served him right, really. They’d been apart for longer than sual and Soren would say it definitely wasn’t HIS fault since he was a part of the Crownguard and wasn’t allowed to stay anywhere but here at the King’s side. So, with every flourish he added with his sword and every exaggerated flex he put into his movement HE WAS ON A MISSION.

“Keith,” Adam replies with a short, pained sigh. He rubs at his temple with one hand. Apparently, his recent concussion still hasn’t faded away. “I know what happened with me and Shiro is something you know about because you’re one of his friends. And I know you just want to protect him but would it really hurt anything for me just to talk to him? Shouldn’t I at least get the chance to apologize to him?”

❝ I don’t know, Adam, will it? Will it hurt him? I really don’t know which is why I’d rather not find out and nip this in the bud before it could be a disaster because HE’S BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH and I won’t ever let him be hurt again if I can help it. ❞ And maybe in a way this was childish when even back then Shiro told him not to get involved but Keith was done seeing pain on the face of the person he cared about most.

“I am no social science expert,” Entrapta emits with a thoughtful (and mildly confused) frown, “but that sounds unhealthy. Care to explain what you mean?”

God, is she hoping that Catra explains! She’d love an excuse to study one of the smartest people in her general vicinity.

Ugh. What had she even been expecting? Of course Entrapta wasn’t going to understand what she meant. Scorpia was too nice, and Entrapta... smart as she was, she had the emotional intelligence of a brick. How could someone like Entrapta ever understand the subtleties of manipulation? She couldn’t. That was why Entrapta was there helping Catra to begin with.

               he hums in false consideration -------- he isn’t going to give it to her. but if she can take it, then she can leave. he grabs the hoodie and looks it over before tossing it over his shoulder and standing. closing the distance between them, roman’s gaze is intense; her insult not phasing him in the least.      ❝  all i heard was i got a big dick and that ain’t do nothin’ but INFLATE my ego.  ❞

               large hands grab her arms --------- though not in an aggressive manner --------- and pull her against his chest.      ❝  you’re not leaving. not when you’re bein’ a little brat. did my words hurt your feelings ?  you can dish it out but can’t take it. stop acting like you’re five.  ❞

The mesmer creates a wall of dazzling colours, you know it cannot be true, these vibrants exist only in fiction, an illusion it is, then.

he lets the other ruffle up and fix his hair to help him try and hide his horns. he leans into the kiss to his forehead and nods once he’s told that they’re still showing. “i’ll have to buy one later today.” he murmurs as he carefully gets his hood up and effectively hides his horns.
