How did I discover them?
I’ve liked them ever since I was little. I think the first time I heard them was while I was listening to the radio in my room and heard Shake Me Down and just fell in love. I decided to listen to more of their songs later on and immediately put them on my Walkman.Â
Why should you give them a listen?
I feel like even if you don’t like the genre you can still find a song you’ll love. Each of their albums have a different feel. Their songs are fun to listen to and yet still have a ton of emotion. Some may seem random at first, but after listening for a while you get a sense of the deeper meaning. Honestly you’ve probably already heard their song Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked so I guess I should focus on persuading you all to check out their other songs. Their new album, Tell Me I’m Pretty, is so good. I love each and every one of their new songs. They give off a feeling of softness with a side of “Don’t fucking mess with me”. Honestly CTE is at least one of my top 3 favorites, especially since I’ve loved them for longer than most of my favorites.Â
