@fantastiicbcasts He could hear traces of the music pouring from the Plaza Hotel as he fell in and out of consciousness, lungs burning in desperation but too full of water. He was soaking wet and beginning to attract a crowd wondering why he was on the sidewalk. Two women in fur coats could have sworn he had appeared out of NO WHERE but they were assured they simply had too much to drink. "Is he okay?" "Is he drunk?" people murmured until falling silent as someone finally went to analyze him, turning him from on his side onto his back and searching him for I.D. The witch that had taken initiative to see what was going on found the wand on him, but muttered to herself, "No wand permit, no I.D., no wallet at all..." She paused to glance around, but the others had lost interest by now and continued on their ways. She looked back to the young man, and suddenly she realized he wasn't breathing. Her first thought was to find a first response auror to get him to a hospital... But then she figured it would look bad to get involved. And so she left him.

“I-I..what...what /are/ you?” the king asked, slowly approaching the man with a stick and some sort of brown box. Without a word he trotted over and sniffed the bag, trying desperately to figure out what was inside.

      “I    I just  “ He feels empty, just like the other had said. Credence can’t find the words to talk about it. He’s not sure how to talk about it either, about how much pain he is in.     “I don’t know what to say,      or how to   I’m sorry.”
