I love the idea of Wren as an Opera Singer just because of birds and music and cages and what-have-you. My thought is that once Elias rises to stardom, he changes his name to Wren after one of his most popular roles.
Going off of that. One of the reasons Christine falls so easily for Phantom is because her father promised to send her “an angel of music” as he died. In this AU it would obviously be Everett and Wren would sing the very pretty “Wishing you were somehow here again” at his grave. Do not recommend listening to this song and thinking of Everett.
Also, in case I didn’t make this clear Opera Diva au Cathal/Ballet Dancer Zander!!!!!!
(In the show, Phantom absolutely despises the diva, but maybe in this au it’s just cause he’s spending too much time with Zander)
