Dreamhack Summer HYPE! Predictions, Hopes & Dreams Edition
Now that the groups have been announced for Dreamhack Summer this weekend, it seemed like a good time to make my fashion predictions for the event:
Group A: Savjz, Ek0p, Alchemixt, Reynad
I am most excited about the potential for drama--err, sorry, "narrative"--in this group, the chillness of Savjz and Alchemixt is more than balanced by how much Ek0p and Reynad dislike each other. I will be super disappointed if they never actually face off tbh.
Group B: Tidesoftime, Rdu, Darkwonyx, Realz
Pls somebody tell me when Radu's 18th birthday is, so I can begin having opinions about him, thx. This group also features Tides, in the "not actually yailbait but could pass for it" category, so probably the fifteen-year-old fangrills (I do not think there are any) love this group the best.
Also, I predict Realz will be wearing a hat, as always. (Men: if you always wear a hat on television nobody will ever suspect that you are bald.) And I have insider information that we will see the return of the blue pants on Darkwonyx. (By insider information I mean we talked about it in TakeTV Twitch chat I think.)
I guess Gnimsh considers himself well-dressed because he always wears black, idek. But you know how I feel about a buzz cut on adult men (I do not approve). Also very excited for Thijs's seeding because I know almost nothing about him, so this group should have some fresh jokes you have never heard me make before. Not even in Twitch chat or on Skype.
According to my calculations, Gaara may be the only pro Hearthstone player to actually wear hair gel. Also, I forecast Amaz will have the most glorious and majestic shirt that he probably just got at some regular store in Hong Kong that will put all these white boys to shame. Super excited he just got signed by Team Liquid but if they make him wear a jersey I will cry. It will be the end of this blog as we know it.
I know Kitkatz will be super upset if I don't "critique his fashion" so he can "become a real boy" but he probably has to wear a Curse t-shirt? That is a fundamental problem with the "fashion" theme of this blog tbh, team t-shirts & sponsor jerseys are not very interesting to talk about. (Except the apparently-retired DogeHouse jersey, which can be best described as "too big.") Also I'm hoping that somebody very interesting and attractive and unknown makes it through because it will be good for the joke-writing.

So proud of my boy Admirable for landing this sweet gig! But mostly I'm excited for the interviews. I fucking love interviews.
As far as my planned DH coverage goes, unfortunately I have family things to do on Saturday and work on Sunday, but I will wake up at ungodly early o'clock to watch the Monday stuff, and I will watch the VODs as soon as they come out. Not sure about making gifs tho, depends how hard it is to download the videos off ViaGame. And don't worry, nobody's getting excluded this time around, after everybody found out who I was I found out how easily these players' egos bruise.
Also I'm trying to convince Ilauna to make some jokes over here along with me, to liven up the coverage, but we will see.
