so, cecily's network is very incredibly expansive. 150+ sirelings current-day, each having a sireling above them who tracks & monitors their behavior. this trail eventually reaches back to the top of that chain — one link at a time — until it reaches keziah mason. keziah was always a rule - enforcer, even at st. margaret's. five years cecily's senior, she was the one who kept order among the sisters. she isn't a cruel soul, just someone with a firmly rooted sense of justice. her role within the sisterhood is to travel, monitor, & sometimes manage the occasional disobedient sireling. the method changes from time to time — a disappearance here, an accident there, nothing that draws attention back to the sisterhood — but keziah has her preference : beheading, it's clean & certain. she prefers to be sure the job is finished.

sleep: MYTH. normal bed. the coffin thing is a myth.
stake: TRUE. fatal through the heart.
fire: HALF-MYTH. agonizing, but survivable if enough of her body remains.
decapitation: TRUTH. entirely fatal.
