You three had better not be naked in there.
They . . . do not make the choices I thought they would. Sans is hooked on diving, despite his rather painful belly flop on the first one, and Wing is just crazy for the slides.
Papyrus? Hot tub. All the way.
What the hell.
Amelia . . is really taken with John Eggbert. I mean, really taken with him. Obvious-to-complete-strangers that she’s swooning hard over him.
In the meantime, Lina is bored and too full to eat. A nearby vendor has almost all of the ultra-rare tourist snow globes! GO GET THEM LINA!
Zel went to talk to Amelia . . . and then John wandered back to talk with her. Wow, she just . . immediately switched to talking and flirting with him instead of just talking with Zel.
!!
SCANDAL.
I . . am pretty sure very few people are going to recognize these characters. They’re from a very old anime that, while it had a good strong fandom, never hit the sheer level of notoriety series like Ranma 1/2, Sailor Moon, or Robotech did. But then, comedy fantasy was more of a niche back then compared to sci-fi or romantic comedy.
Folks, meet The Slayers.
This fantasy series was loosely inspired by another long-running love of mine, Dungeons and Dragons. It’s funny, it’s energetic, and it’s got some damned clever writing. By now the visuals are showing their age, but it’s still a fun watch. I own it all on DVD
It was also refreshingly non-romantic, although it did have some very strong romance-related subplots. And the characters were very shippable.
Moving on! We have Lina Inverse (protagonist), Amelia Wil Tesla De Seyruun (young sidekick), and Zelgadis Greywers (anti-hero/straight man)! Zel’s hair really should be lavender . .
Anyways, I’ve plunked these three (out of a total cast of seven) into a house together! But it’s more fun to see what they first got up to at the flea market!
Lina and Zel immediately go to try new food, and Amelia . . get distracted hitting on John Eggbert.
Dude. You’re a teenager. He’s in his early twenties.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
My poor, tired, stinky boys. ;w;
The food eventually arrives!
. . . . at freaking 3:18 AM! What the hell?!
Kanaya loves it, Sans doesn’t, and Papyrus is indifferent. But hey, at least they finally got fed, and are all friends. Sans reeks. I mean, seriously, he has stink clouds coming off him.
Either one of the cooks, or the first waitress, needs to be fired.
THIS DOES NOT FILL ME WITH CONFIDENCE.
