My good dude, a faith is not a fandom. A belief in something is not a fandom. That's like saying feminism is a fandom, or veganism is a fandom. You're basically pointing at a poster and calling it a table when it's a completely different species.

Fun fact, there is Christianity the religion, but also Christianity the fandom.
People that are in the Christianity fandom often don't believe in the Christian Hod, but just like the stories of the Bible and related Christian religious texts. And they do all the things your regular everyday fandom does, making fanart, shipping, making AU's, orginsing zines, theory making, filling in the gaps of the lore with fanfic and comics, you name it.
"But it is a religion so its disrespectful to do that!"
I personally am not going to judge people basted on this, I actually think that the Christianity fandom people are very talented and nice so I just let them be and dont bother them. But if you have a problem with people doing what I described above with Christianity, do you also have a problem with it of they do it with other religions holly text or only the bible? Because as a pegan, why do I dont hear you complaining about how people treat the greek Gods for exemple?
Anyways, I don't think that that was what OG!OP was talking about, but I just wanted to add these things to the convention because I saw that nobody brought these things up.

Sick and tired of people calling Christianity a fandom. Especially when it's not even a joke but completely serious?? It is not a fucking fandom. Learn the meaning of words. This is right up there with "sky daddy" amongst the list of "jokes" about Christianity that stopped being funny years ago.

This HAS to be rage-bait because why would Christianity be the ONLY religion anon considers a fandom? Unless anon is some fake "woke" version of those edgy antitheist types.

(The pegan here) I dont necessarily think its ragebait. I myself am from a very Christian heavy era. To the point I cannot speak about being pegan or other people about being Muslim for exemple, without risking extreme discrimination. So maybe OG!OP is also from a similar background as me and expressing their exhaustion with the way Christians act in a very unfortunate manner? I don't know, its just a theory I have to try to understand where OG!OP is coming from.
