TROPIKAL FINALLY REVEALS FANDOM NAME AND FANDOM COLORS AFTER ALMOST A YEAR!

After nearly a year, Tropikal and Mount Records finally revealed the group’s official fandom colors and official fandom name! With the color names ‘Dark Jungle’ and ‘Sea Foam’ they give off a vibrant yet mysterious vibe. But that’s not all! The group also announced their official fandom name.. ‘Areka’. The word is a play on ‘Areca’ which is a genus of different tropical species of palms, also representing the different types of people who are able to come together and enjoy Tropikal’s music as one unit! Of course the fandom name would not be complete without the addition of their known ‘K’ making up the name ‘Areka’.

I just made a big, long list of fandom names and colors, taken from all of the random lists that are floating around on various KPop sites and blogs. Now, I haven’t gone threw and confirmed everything on this list yet (part of the reason for making it was to do just that since a lot on these lists are wrong/out-of-date), but I thought it would be interesting to give an overview of what the internet thinks is currently accurate:

Of the 255 entries included on my list right now (groups, solos, and a few random actors), 135 have no fandom color listed. That leaves 120, and of those, 53 have “pearl” something listed as their color - KPop groups love them some pearl shades hahaha and, yes, 1 fandom does have the official color of pearl.

we are conducting a new survey in regards to A1ST’ thoughts on fandom color, and discussing Top Notch*. The results will be sent to DR, and we will await an answer.

*Top Notch has gotten a new design with the help of some of the suggestions from the survey, and will be released after confirmation from DR.
