Pikminidae Ataramentum
This type is.....nothing like the rest, they are hostile and unlike the Puffmin, they aren't mind controlled or anything, it's more like they are a territorial subspecies of pikmin created by an inky mass shaped like an Onion.
It is noted that these pikmin seem able to "corrupt" any lost pikmin they find by taking them to this mass, next to the usual corpses and pellets.

Well, as I've been brainrotting over Pikmin and my fanstuff, I came up with even more fan types!
from left to right:
Magenta Pikmin - Joyous little guys with sorta rubbery bodies, which makes them have an extra bounce to their step and deals extra damage to enemies.
Palm Pikmin - Easygoing fellows that are the tallest of all Pikmin species, kinda more wood-like then the others. they use their palm heads to attack.
Mint Pikmin - Pikmin with a sort of calming effect, making the enemies less hostile so swarming is less of a hassle.
Seafoam Pikmin - Skittish Pikmin that are able to spray a stream of foam from it's "mouth" to blind enemies.
Toon Pikmin - A very wacky type that can survive being crushed via toon logic.
Kelp Pikmin - Shy Pikmin that use their kelp "hair" like tendrils, gives them good grip when attacking.
Prism Pikmin - This one is a sorta joke OC, the strongest and most specialist type of them all that can survive all hazards, defeat enemies easily, carry items all by itself, and many more. can only be obtained with the rare Rainbow Pellet.
Pikminidae Uelle
This type is seen near dandelions and windy areas, they are so light that they can float around for a bit thanks to the cotton-like fluff on their stem, neck, and eyes.
I also made some fakemin [? IDK if there's an actual term for fanmade Pikmin types] for fun, had to do a lot of brainstorming to make these guys look good, I took some inspo from other people's takes on things such as orange or green Pikmin and combined it with my own ideas.
from left to right:
Orange - Very spikey and is found in sandy/desert like areas, basically a cactus type.
Indigo - Found in damp areas, extra arms gives it a slight strength boost to carry items faster.
Green - The most "feral", uses it's stem to slow down enemies and it's teeth to chomp on them, dealing extra damage.
Fluffmin/Cyan - The second lightest next to Yellow, and is found in windy areas where it can be used to get to higher places.
Inkmin/Black - A hostile type like the Puffmin, these types are found in dark areas and seem to have the ability to "corrupt" it's fellow Pikmin via taking them to their oily Onion.
Brown - The second flying type, can be used to find glowing objects easier.
I think fan types often misunderstand creativity.
Often these fan types are very creatively restrictive, such as Sound, Light, etc.
Light is the best example of this, comparing it to the Fairy type it is much more strict in potential designs. Light would likely be exclusively morally good Pokémon, were as Fairy can be that and more due to the mischievous nature of old fae. Another thing Light and Fairy can be is bright (obviously), but a Light type being not bright and colorful would likely not make much sense, such as if Luxray became Light type, when people already missunderstand it and say it should be Dark, and it's Electric type already overlaps with Light.
Sound is a great example of the other problem with fan types, the type chart.
While offensively it is pretty, well, sound. The problem lies defensively, as Sound is just how our brains process air vibrations our ears pick up on, so there's nothing concrete to go off of.

Sound type is the stupidest fan type ever!
Sound isn't even a tangible thing, it's how our brain processes the air vibrations our ears pick up.
Saying it's basically already a "pseudo type" in the game is dumb. If that is the case, why don't people advocate for a punch type and kick type? Or a bite type. Sound works best as a move property, what else could it even be as an intangible concept we have universally accepted as law due to our own self centered perspectives.
Pikminidae Oculus
An unusual type, these pikmin have evolved to have four arms to carry things faster and to be more adapt to climbing. Their one eye is known to give them some poor coordination issues but that doesn't seem to slow them down one bit.
