he’s sort of been CAUGHT in the middle of an accident -- which might be a loose as heck term for it. in logan’s eyes, what has happened seems to be more of a tragedy. overeagerness has gotten the better of him ( AS IT USUALLY DOES ). “frickin’ heck, dude,” and there’s FIZZ everywhere. a good dr. pepper totally WASTED. logan is so focused on how sticky he suddenly is due to carbonation saturating his clothes that he doesn’t notice someone in close proximity to him.  

❝  no,  no,  no,  no,  no,  gabe,  shut the fuck up,  hang on.  ❞    all red hot cheeks and watery eyes,  she’s glad he can’t see her now.  she lays on the floor with an empty fifth of vodka near her ankle,  chewed up and spat out by another saturday night:   she doesn’t remember dialing gabe,  doesn’t know if hearing his voice makes the nausea settle any easier,  but it’s better than her own silence,  even when her throat’s already raw from the fight.    ❝  you don’t get to do that shit!  how’s that fair?  you don’t get to want me one day and not the next,  and you definitely don’t get to throw a fucking fit when i don’t wanna waste my time  –   fuck,  ❞   her phone hisses with a low battery notice,  drained by the end of a long night.    ❝  i don’t know what the fuck kinda idiot you think i am,  ❞    as she scrambles to her feet,  suddenly slammed with the weight of gravity versus alcohol,  and slings her hand around her kitchen drawers to find a charger.    ❝  if i’m some dumb slut you can fuck around with when you’re bored,  or if i’m gonna be around forever,  ❞    one drawer pulled open,  then another,  another until she’s got a charger and jamming it into the nearest outlet,    ❝  but i promise you,  gabe,  there’s,  like,  five different guys i’m gonna start regularly fucking soon,  and unlike you,  they all have the balls to appreciate me and value me and love me,  maybe,  so fuck you.  ❞    she’s lying through her teeth.  still glad he can’t see her.

tristan looked up, head tilted as he stared at the other blankly. had no patience or energy for this man or his unchecked ego —- had a primadonna bandmate of his own. “no,” he shrugged, reaching for his coffee. wondered exactly what ran through the other’s mind, what mental gymnastics he must constantly be doing in order to think himself so important. “i can take a guess.” though, he already knew the other wouldn’t like what he had to say. not that he particularly cared. this wasn’t summer camp, they weren’t expected to be friends, they just had to work together. be civil. “are you…” tristan paused, eyes narrowing as if he were genuinely trying to think, as if he really had a guess of any consequence. “some self important twink who thinks he gets t’boss me around ‘cause his band’s been around longer than mine?” he took a long sip from his cup, eyes never leaving the other’s. “i think i’m right.”
