“How do you always find me?” Cleo is genuinely impressed.

“I'm going to notice if you are missing, love.” 

“You came to butter me up? Go on then.” 

“This party is a lot, innit? Can I walk you home?”

“Absolutely, get me out of here!” 

False takes them by the hand. The pair know their way around Ren’s base so slipping out unnoticed is easy. 

“He gave me those big puppy eyes or I wouldn’t have turned up.” False sighs. 

“He’s cute when he begs. He promised me cheesecake.” They start on their walk.

“I have two new Ren heads! That’s definitely Cleo bait.”

“He deserves it. My base is in the other direction, darling. Think I didn’t notice?” 

“I do love him. Well, I never said who's home I would walk you to.”

“Me too. He's ours isn't he? You cheeky bugger! Come here!” Cleo stops in her tracks pulling False in for a kiss. “So, you'll come home with me?”

“Yes. Your plot worked like a charm.” Both of them know the way to Cleo’s heart: Dessert and Deception.   

Some Context: The fic's main goal was to be a Stress x False x Cleo story, though I never got to the actual romance or the part where Cleo joins. Their polycule would act as a bridge between humans (represented by False) and zombies (represented by Cleo), with Stress being the one who brings the two of them, and the two opposing sides, together since she's a recently deceased zombie who hasn't quite started doing zombie things like eating flesh.

Frankly I need to watch all of Cleo and False's videos and try to find all of the times they're together because like they HAVE been, enough so that the Zombiesymmetry [idk if thats the actual tag people are using it not so uh. God bless.] tag on ao3 has 51 fanfics, so, like, it's a rarepair but certainly not the rarest in terms of this fandom.

We've been rotating a hypothetical 'False gets more involved in the rebellion during the king arc' since False was on the rebel side during the labyrinth, and then also like, False and Cleo dealing with her like split version of herself on empires. Laying in the grass, crying into Cleo as she confesses everything she did. Being a formidable foe for King Ren during the king arc. They're in lesbians together.

Also from what ive seen they were on opposite sides of the mycellium war in s7 [<- has not seen s7 yet] so like. I'm sure when I watch that I will have gay to rotate.
