Go read False Miracles!!

I drew my OC (which is still in development) because I didn't know what else to draw.

I haven’t gotten around to reading False Miracles, but I did a bit of research just for this ask and I’ve come to a conclusion (let me know if I’ve misunderstood)!

Lexi would have a lot of pity for Sebastia. She knows how it feels to have something so inhuman put inside of you by force, something that quite literally makes you a monster.

When a new proxy joins the ranks, if they share her opinion on their boss, Lexi will help them survive for the first month. But she won’t be nice about it—she’ll make sure to tell them that their little friend behind their eye isn’t going anywhere, so they better get used to it.

But Sebastia isn’t a proxy, nor is she a lost cause like them. Despite being harsh on her colleagues, Lexi will always seek to help others escape her situation, or situations alike hers. So she would dedicate a lot of her energy to Sebastia—protecting her from her “housemates”, teaching her anything she needs to know, basically acting like her shadow to make sure nothing bad happens.

As far as personality goes, from what I understand Sebastia is a bit naive, which would bug Lexi. Not because she looks down on her, but because she knows naivety is like catnip to those who seek to hurt her. This would result in a bit of “tough love” from Lexi, even though she can’t really love much of anything anymore.
