Introducing the #Falsay: Falsay are native from east Pakistan to Cambodia and is popularly known as a stem of the Grewia plant. Falsay have this weird sweetness yet acidic zing to them and are only sold during the summer time. With falsay being eaten by the bowl and mangos eaten by the crate, I know that being in Pakistan during the summer time is simultaneously the worst yet best time to come. But when you have a bowl of cold, delicious falsay covered in kaala namak (black salt) even the 45 degree weather doesn’t look so bad 🙌🏼 To follow more delicious food adventures from my time in my home land, follow @loveatfirsttable or through the hashtag #loveatfirsttable 🍽🤗 (at Karachi, Pakistan)
