A while ago, a friend got me to agree to paint up his WW2 Fallschirmjäger as part of his Canadian campaign in Italy Bolt Action project. Finally, after occupying my work desk for much longer than I'd care to admit, they're completed.
So you know Fallschirmjager? He must be a hell of a gentleman. I just started following him and he has made me snort laugh. So how did you end up knowing him?
I was in Cincinnati working on the road trying to find something to do, I reached out to him on here and he took me on a cultural tour of Zincinnati. He really is a deep well of knowledge, like to the point of taking over for the art museum tour curator and giving deep insight into works of art. There seriously isn't anything he can't do, well with the exception of sitting down for more than five minutes.
I've known him for five or more years now and he is just a Renaissance man, whatever he puts his mind to he does it and over achieves. He helped me with anatomy while I was in school, showed me woodworking skills and how to restore the binding on old books. Funniest thing is, he won't admit to how smart he is and just feigns ignorance on his behalf. Oh and he can fight with the best of them. Just realized how I sound like a fanboy, but the man has helped me out when nobody else would, even sent my mother flowers when my father passed.
