Disclaimer that I have not been active in the Fallout fandom for some time and probably won't be again anytime soon, so I can't respond to any current fandom zeitgeist, only what my past experiences have been.
6. which ship fans are the most annoying?
God, I truly cannot pin down any particular ship for this because the last time I was active in the fandom the level of self-righteousness over ships was unreal... and no, it wasn't just "those shippers over there."
8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about
While Fallout 3 has its issues, and I have my own frustrations with the writing and I'm certainly not about to argue that it's a perfect game (and New Vegas is still my favorite), I do also feel that people often sell the worldbuilding in 3 short, maybe because their disinterest in the setting causes them to not look as deeply at it. I've seen people say, for example, that the game never addresses where people get food and clean water in Megaton and Rivet City, which is a frankly baffling take if you've actually explore those locations and done any of the sidequests. I do think the game itself doesn't do a great job of distinguishing between small-scale water purification (what various settlements already do) and large scale purification of the entire tidal basin (what Project Purity is supposed to do). There's plenty the game doesn't handle as well as it could. There's also a lot of interesting detail to sink your teeth into if you care to explore it.
