Fallon is shaken by the news. As much as it delights her, she also just…can’t picture it. Not in the slightest. But once she gets past that, it’s like a weight lifted off her shoulders, and all she can feel is relief. It doesn’t occur to her to feel bad when she’s too busy feeling safe. It’s justice.

Calix is, initially, terrified. Somehow he worries that Quill will blame it on him, somehow this will come back to haunt him, that this is bad news for Calix. Until he really processes what this means. He, too, cannot picture Quill on his knees the way Calix spent most of his time. But it makes him…sad. He does, absently, feel safer, but he also wholeheartedly believes that no one deserves to be broken.

Hmmm… I’ve always associated this song with Esme just because I first heard it on Teen Wolf, and also saw a Jackson/Elena crossover video to it.

my immediate thought is Fallon Reign and Malcolm Merlyn! He was an absolute monster to her, manipulating her from an early age and then marrying her at 21. Fun fact: he has two ex-wives before her,  both of which marriages were terminated by death, Tommy’s mom and Joselyn Reign.
