Lusamine studied the stranger for a moment with an unreadable expression, then easily conjured an excuse for her.
“Ah, I see... Moved to tears by the beauty of this place, were you?” She gestured to the conservation area with a graceful flourish of her hand before chuckling into her palm. “No need to apologize. You wouldn’t be the first, I assure you.”
She observed the indignant Cutiefly and then the gaggle of Corsola, looking at the latter with the fondness of a mother overseeing her rowdy children.
“Darlings,” she called to them in a musical voice, and they paused to listen, seeming to recognize her. “Do try to keep the splashing to a minimum, won’t you? You have visitors.”
Though they recognized her, they didn’t seem terribly interested in following her suggestion. They went right on back to playing with a chorus of delighted chittering, splashing perhaps even more than before. Lusamine sighed.
“Well then. I suppose I can’t expect all our resident Pokemon to pick up good manners.”
