Final sketch - I’m working on my animation presses by trying to make it more like a standard industry pipeline, instead of my “leap before I look” strategy. But I can’t help myself, there’s one part thats ment to be impactful but so far I’m not happy with this version ither, I think I like the previous better and might make that work better.

I had a fun time making Nightmare’s office, this isn’t official, but I also had a lot of fun designing his office chair. Something that always bothered me is how does Nightmare sit comfortably in a chair with the tentacles in the way. If you have ever tried to lay down on your back with a ponytail on the back of your head, I imagine it would be something similar so I designed a chair that has openings on the back for his tentacles to poke through. I tried to fill his office with trinkets that he might have, maybe gifts from family members, souvenirs from business trips, stuff like that.

So yes I do ship Error and Ink it is cannon that they are married in my multiverse story. One thing about there relationship in fanfics that I’m almost depressed it is not a thing is for them is them being completely insane or how they show affection to each other makes people think they should be in an asylum. I mean come on! You have one guy who fully believes he and he alone can bring order to the multiverse by destroying AUs and the other is fully aware that her entire reality is nothing but a form of entertainment for thousands or even millions of higher beings that can wipe out her entire existence simply by doing nothing. You don’t have that kind of revolution without going a little crazy/depressed. And on top of that they view themselves as some higher being with some form of higher authority as well as having difficulty connecting with others in a meaningful way, that’s literally perfect for them to be an insane couple like soldier and his wife from tf2! Or something along the lines of Morticia and Gomez from the Adam’s Family!!

(And yes this comic is Error trying to express his emotions the Ink and Ink of course matches his freak)

(explanation: In my multiverse Ink and Error have known each other for a couple hundred years or so and have been through a lot together witch helped getting them close. Now the reason why Ink would be flattered with such a hunting phrase that usually means vengeance is because Error knows Ink’s greatest fear is being alone he also knows that he is the only one who understands Ink so if he where to die she would have no one. So him saying “if I die I’m taking you with me” is more like “I love you so much not even death would keep us apart”)

Ooooo Dream’s in trouble!!!

In my world the ‘Star Sans’’ or ‘Dream Team’ or whatever you want to call it doesn’t exist. At least not currently. If I’m gunna do a story about Dream it’s gunna be more of a DC/Marvel superhero comic where Dream is trying to live a normal life after everything that happened to her, going to school, taking dancing and music classes that kind of stuff. One day in the library, she’s looking for something easy to read that isn’t from the kids section when she stumbled across a spider-man comic and she fell in love. Over time she got the idea to be the ‘spider-man’ of her city, mainly cuz she wanted to help Blue/Swap (he’s a cop and also Dream’s guardian/foster parent) with all the crime and perhaps one day prove that he doesn’t need to worry about her so much. I don’t know if I want Ink and Error to be Dream and Nightmare’s godparents or just simply friends of the family because of the relationship with their mother, ither way Ink is kinda like the wine aunt who just pops in to spoil Dream rotten and get into trouble sometimes. So when Dream wanted to become a superhero and showed Ink her design for a suit, of COURSE Ink was all for it! And with a little help from Error (he’s a bit of a fashion designer in this world who can make the strongest fabric in the multiverse) Ink also taught Dream some magic and self-defense, not enough to stop any real threats, like evil masterminds, but enough to apprehend the average thief and take care of any school bullies.

This story isn’t really canon but the concept is.
