Ok guys...I’m late to the game, but holy crap! This trailer! Assassin’s Creed hasn’t been interesting for years, but this setting and these visuals have more than peaked my interest. I can’t wait to get my hands on this game (and I don’t think I’ve ever said that about an Assassin’s Creed game). Sure they’re fun, but I’m rarely left thinking about them, and since I’ve seen this trailer I can’t wait to get in there and explore Egypt. Also, did you know you can tame animals?! The same mechanic from Far Cry has been brought into Assassin’s Creed which I think is a genius move for this installment (but perhaps not the best move over all for Ubisoft as far as creating a distinction between the branding of AC and Far Cry). Also there will be a combat free mode so you can easily explore ancient Egypt. I can’t wait.

When you start counting smaller titles, the number quickly becomes absurd. Is this over-saturation of titles hurting the industry? Would it behoove game makers to spread the wealth and allow the consumers time to save between blockbuster releases?
