In the american horror story s1 pilot, when Tate lures the Bitchy Bully Girl downstairs, he apparently is possesed by the Infantata?
B/c, the whole scene is made up of camera quick-shots of Tate and the Infantata switching places. And it's obvious that Tate set the whole thing up, even making up a line to explain Bitchy Bully's scratched face, indicating that he asked the Infantata previously to do exactly that. (It's a sensible request: hurt her, humiliate her, permanently disfigure her beauty and destroy her power base, but don't kill her.)
But, can a ghost be possesed by a ghost? Is there any other canon support of that? I can't remember. Is it the force of Tate's ignorance of his own dead state supporting the ability for the Infantata to possess him? Or, did Ryan just not have any idea that Tate was dead, even though this fact is revealed like five eps later.
