âI donât think this is a good idea.â Calebâs voice wavered as Nathan finally uncovered his eyes to reveal the location that he had decided Caleb and himself should go to to ârelieve some stressâ. It was a gentlemanâs club obviously and though Caleb was 26, heâd yet to step foot in one. Heâd never really found the idea appealing -- especially not after experience a girl back him into a wall and twerk on him at a college party 8 years prior. He felt awkward in those sorts of situations, but Nathan was under the impression that Caleb perhaps needed to loosen up a bit.
âLook, we go in. We hang for an hour and if you still feel the same, we can leave. Just give it a try, please?â Nathan batted his eyelashes at Caleb and the boy grimaced. Nathan was married and had a kid, but his marriage was failing him. Heâd even asked his wife for permission to take Caleb here and sheâd eagerly told him yes. Caleb kind of felt bad for him, but that didnât mean he wanted to get strung along in his shit either.
âFine. But youâre buying my drinks.â Caleb mumbled.
âWouldnât dream of doing any different.â Nathan countered. The two moved to the line then, pulling out their IDs and getting in with no problem. The music was loud in Calebâs ears and his face scrunched up as they headed for the bar. There was a woman dancing on the main stage, doing a show and Nathan stared as they walked, but Caleb paid no mind. They took seats at the bar but Nathan just kept staring at the stage.
âWhy in gods name are you staring so ha-â Caleb turned his head to look at the stage after ordering their drinks and found himself almost as mesmerized by the sight. It was more the fact that all the things she was doing required great athletic skill. It was surely impressive and he could admire that. He felt his cheeks flush at Nathan nudged him before diverting his attention back to the drinks once they were set down for them.
âIâll be right back.â Nathan said before getting up and before Caleb could say anything to him, he disappeared in the sea of bodies. Caleb pacified his anxiety a bit by chugging one of his drinks, but he felt whatever Nathan was doing wasnât good. When he came back, the girl onstage was gone. Dancers were wondering around. After a few minutes of being alone, Caleb decided to check his phone, but found nothing.
âHey.â Nathan came up behind him, nearly making his drop his drink. âHa! Sorry. I saw you liked the lady on stage so I took it upon myself to get you a personal dance from her. Sheâs pricey.â Nathan shook his head before rubbing Calebâs back, âSo letâs finish these drinks and then go to the back.â Caleb was in absolute shock, punching Nathan in the shoulder once he had processed what heâd done. Nathan seemed not phased though and finished off his drink in two gulps before urging Caleb to follow suit. Instead, the curly haired boy gave Nathan a glare, but then eventually finished the drink much the same.
They stood up then and headed towards the back private dance rooms. There was one with the curtains drawn and a security guard waiting. His eyes lit up with recognition upon seeing Nathan.
âThis the lucky fellow?â The security guard asked and Nathan beamed. Caleb turned red and looked away.
âWell, you know the rules. No touching unless given consent to. Stay respectful and enjoy the dance, alright?â
âUhm yes, sir.â Caleb mumbled. The guard pulled the curtain back and Nathan urged him to go in. When Nathan didnât follow he felt a bit panicky, but Nathan waved him off. He took a seat in the chair as the curtain closed and noticed there was a door off to the side, is that where she could come from? He rubbed his sweaty palms on his jeans, not knowing what to expect.
