ive been posting too much ππ but like, am i the only one who doesn't care about factkins, or rpf yumeshippers...... i mean yeah i do see how it could be parasocial, but most rpf yumes and factkins are just a celebrities persona (party poison for example !!)

I think I might be factkin with my cat. But I also might just be confused on the emotions Iβm experiencing. sheβs just like me. Whenever I look at her I see myself. And Iβm just like her. And I hope she sees herself whenever she looks at me. But like sheβs the only being Iβve ever truly felt seen with and felt understood me. So like maybe thatβs playing into why I think Iβm her, when Iβm not, and Iβm just like otherhearted or something.
I think the only thing actually stopping me from identifying as her, is the fact sheβs real. If she were fictional Iβd identify as her for sure. I also love her name and would totally use it for myself (but I picked it so ofc Iβm gonna love it)
That sounds... pretty similar to the factkinny stuff I've experienced. I mean, while I do technically kin everything, which would include animals, my most notable factkin types are (not to be "basic") musicians and YouTubers. My advice on these things is usually "call yourself the label first and see if you change your mind after" but I get being more hesitant to call yourself factkin due to the stigma around that label. However, "seeing yourself" in something is like 99% a kin. So congratulations my newest probably-factkin π Hope this helped!

Actually, I don't know if I have aha. I'm pro factfolk, used to be anti so maybe I rebarked some old anti posts. The main reason why I was anti-factfolk is because I used to (regrettably) frequent r/systemscringe, where factives were considered the worst type of introject, essentially. The main way I unlearned being anti factfolk was just my system splitting a bunch of factives (They're watching over my shoulder as I type this lol...). Plus just realizing that I don't give a fuck if some random being on Tumblr identifies as Taylor Swift (if they can identify as a fictional character, why not a "real person"?), and if I do, the block button exists.
