I read an interesting study about the link between autism and prosopagnosia (face blindness) and I was curious :)

(Haven't decided what it should be called but I'm between faceblind-culture-is or faceblindness-culture-is. Or maybe even prosopagnosia-culture-is but that's a bit long and hard to remember)

But even now, if I don't see someone's face, even with the context clues and the voice, I don't quite get there. It's like an uncanny valley thing. Yes I logically know it's you, but how can I be fully sure when I don't have the last piece? Unless I see you put on and take off the mask, I will always have uncertainty bugging me like a fly on shit. I am 99% sure you are person X, but that 1% uncertainty stops me from fully confirming it. Is this a thing?

I see it, and I know what it looks like, and all I have to do is put the same nose from here, over there. Me, looking at the character builder screen: I've never seen a nose before in my life
