Very curious- who’s blind spot and why should they be marvels next queer character? :o
ah hello!! this question was fielded by my dear friend @faacethefacts:
blindspot my 40 appearance king- he doesn't have much in the way of concrete evidence/panels to use as propaganda given the previously mentioned 40 appearances, but nonetheless i know in my heart he is trans and maybe aro. or gay. Run down for ppl unfamiliar with him- Sam Chung/Blindspot was introduced in Charles Soule's Daredevil run in 2016, where he was a major character for a good like half of the run. he was previously in a cult and, imo, he generally has a lack of autonomy which extends to the themes of his two main villains (Tenfingers and Muse). At the end of Soule's run he appeared for basically the last time, he's only shown up a few more times since then and to say the least, they have not been great. But Sam is a majorly interesting character with incredible potential, as an illegal immigrant and ex-cultist living in chinatown nyc- he has INCREDIBLY interesting dynamics with his family that were way underexplored, and (imo) it's incredibly easy to read him as queer!
