Very good art will come out of it yes, and as for when I’m going to start drawing again, hmm, I may post here and there, but recently my mood hasn’t been the greatest. I’ve hit a bumpy road in my mind right now :’^) But, I will get around to drawing more and more frequently like before soon enough! :^)

Headphones.  Used to wear earbuds but then they broke & I got used to wearing headphones while I was getting around to buying new ones.  IDK there’s something discomforting about being really casual about where you put the mp3 player & earbuds then like.  sticking the earbuds in your ear.  & the reverse.  tiny patches of earwax art.  huh.  headphones are cool.

what she means: Kanae von Rosewald spent most of his life so COMPLETELY buried in a sense of duty he didn't even fully recognize it as a problem. He lives for other people so much he organized his gender presentation around his family's needs; he organizes his day to day life around Shuu's needs; his day job is working as a servant for the Tsukiyama family. Then Eto captured him and not only used horrific torture to force him to subscribe to yet ANOTHER outside set of goals, she had the AUDACITY to try and sell it like she's really helping him, she's really just allowing him to get what he "actually" wants for the first time. So he's doing what Eto wants, and he's a miserable wreck, and he's screaming about wanting to be loved because Eto's watching and it really is a "forbidden" want of his...and the main character stabs him in the eye and tells him to shut up. Kanae has been shutting himself up and making himself utterly and completely convenient to other people his whole life, and the first time he takes a stand on an actual want of his (and only because he was literally forced to) he gets told to SHUT UP and STOP BEING ANNOYING, as part of the main character's character development journey, in this great big panel that focuses on the main character and how important this moment is for him. And people keep making graphics of it like "lol it kaneki" like it's some fun neutral statement about ~standing up for yourself~ instead of part of a complex and truly awful situation, involving TWO people who could never stand up for themselves, forced to fight each other, as other peoples' weapons, to further other peoples' goals. And my heart hurts.

Like imagine you were scared of heights….so you stayed away from high places and did your best to manage the fear whenever it became relevant despite your best efforts…..you've got so much going on in your life and you can't afford to let being scared of heights inhibit you so you try so hard to work around it....then someone kidnaps you and takes you to a high place and won't let you come down and keeps forcing you to do things or whatever….and then from there on out all of your terrified frantic behavior is reported as the sad life and times of one who is afraid of heights, the focus of everything is on you and this big "out of control problem" you have…. why is that person acting like that… it’s because they’re afraid of heights of course… what a shame…. to be afraid of heights…. it must be hard to live like that… being afraid of heights… it motivates you to do really weird things…. this trait is at the core of what drives this person probably….at the core of who they are and what they stand for.….and your kidnapper’s just sitting there enjoying the fuck out of all of this like eyyyup
