Dearest Esther (and Never Again)
What do you make of someone who has been trying to wreck your relationship (but failed) in such a lame, sad, laughable, yawn-inducing, and desperate way? Simply because she canât bear the idea of losing the man sheâs liked for a long time to another woman? LMAO.
Itâs not a coincidence that her manipulative scheme started in 2023 after we rekindled the relationshipâwith the weaponisation of her cancer by faking depression and spatial disorientation blah blah blah following a preventative surgery in order to get special treatments and affection redirected to her from my guy. After getting called out for the bullshit artistry, which she believed would somehow hold a thousand years, because sheâs not used to think through well in her life, she would only show a momentary respite of shameâas the girlfriend has already declared that such an action is unforgivable and her pretension too obvious.
Isnât it a common phenomenon that a jealous person likes to fake kindness toward someone they see as âstealing their right,â just as an emotional cope? And what does it mean when that mask is rebuked? Remember how Miranda tried to be civil to Sansa Stark, and how their dynamics evolved laterâthat she, in truth, never liked SansaâŚ
On the other hand, the guyâs response following the call-out was surprised but far from severe enough. This is due to the fact that the titless bitch had never showcased such behaviour before, back when he was still singleâwhen she still had hope she could bag him LOL. I know he is loved by those close to him, but her actions have repeatedly displayed the very opposite of whatâs expected from a good friendship. Imagineâyour own friend wants to bar you from having your long-awaited happiness just because her empirically pathetic, shallow, inadequate self believes she is better than his girlfriend, by capitalising the fragility and limitations of the friend's long distance relationship? Even during a series of spiteful acts disguised as outreach, she couldnât even hide the malice behind the so-called âsympatheticâ countenance, vivacious bearing, and petite, harmless postureâthrough the shameless resumption of her acting and several pathetic passive-aggressive tauntsâuntil she got verbally slapped by the girlfriend.
Itâs public knowledge that people like that existâwhose ugliness only comes out at the point when they feel theyâre about to lose something important.
I have asked professionals recently whether it would be too far for me to prevent such a manipulative person from ever touching my familyâhusband and kidsâin the future. They all argued that it would be a reasonable solution. I also added: including on the wedding day (or not at all đ), which is one of the sacred moments in a womanâs life.
I donât know about unrequited love and how humiliating it is. Besides, I am not sure whether her parentsâor the so-called superior Korean cultureâever taught her how to build self-respect and dignity. If I were @eyoonit, I would do some real self-reflection and move on with my life. Unless, of course, there were cruel intentions beneath the façade.
