I don’t remember my first time watching Doctor Who (it was Father’s Day and I was too young to remember it I guess). the first time I remember was when Voyage of the Damned came out; I was terrified and hid behind the Christmas tree and refused to watch Doctor Who for years afterwards

I haven’t seen it yet, but it looks very well done and I’ve been meaning to watch it at a later point! I used to own all the books and I liked them just fine, but I was never a hardcore fan, you know? The mystery of it all is definitely the most compelling thing, and it’s what kept bringing me back to the story, but like I said, I wasn’t passionately into it. If I got into the Netflix Series, I might go back to reading the books, but we shall see...

I’ve seen all of it. I made Joe go out and buy the DVD for season 2 after we finished S1 because I liked it so much. It’s not like any version of Dirk Gently I’ve ever imagined. But it’s one I thoroughly enjoyed.Â

5. What book or book series would you like to see turned into a film/ TV series?
I’d like to see Dirk Gently turned into a movie and the Hitchhiker’s Guide turned into a TV series (again). I’d also like to see a series of movies based on the Dortmunder series. I know there’s a bunch of Dortmunder movies, but I’d like to see a series of them with the same cast and also made better. Also, I just turned a book I co-wrote into a movie script, so I’d like to see that as a movie.
23. Who is your favourite author of all time?
Douglas Adams, for sure.
26. What is your favourite non-fiction book?
I do not read enough of these! I really like both of Bruce Campbell’s autobiographies. The Disaster Artist was also pretty fascinating (still haven’t seen the movie).
29. What book are you currently reading?
I’m a couple chapters into Dreamcatcher by Stephen King. I’ve been slowly making my way through all of his stuff chronologically. I’m also reading The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett to Toni. (I’m also making my way through Terry Pratchett chronologically and the next one I have for that is Night Watch.)
5. Is there any fic that makes you super happy to reread and remember you wrote that? :D
I feel like it’s predictable for me to say the selkie au in this situation because it’s so long and how did I write all that omg. buuuut I just reread Coincidences and enjoyed it (though I made two edits sfdghj) so I guess that one!
