Hey look at this!
Look we all know me as the Coral whose the crakheaded fool on alot of days, but im actually an environmentalist and marine biologist! My name coral.. comes from... CORAL!
But right know is not the time to be funny. Rosewood is this large development and hotel company thats been killing my people and so many other countries.. they're threatening Sampson cay, Exuma. Imma give you some run downs.
Samspon cay is a cay. A cay is a small land that really cannot be deemed an island and some cases people don't live on them.
The proposed devloped is a hotel holding 500 workers and guest. With them needing a shipping dock so the guests don't see the boats
Yknow what boats need to get to a place?
Dredging
Yknow whats on that bottom?
Coral
Seagrass
Urchins
Starfish
Turtles
Conch
Brittle stars
And so many fishes
Animals..
Rose wood whats a 465 mile wall to cutt off the active flow of water because the cut in the middle is to rough, so it doesnt rock the boats coming in
They want to cull an ENTIRE airline runway equivalent of coral and seagrass for these boats.
This will cause coast erosion as there is will be no active water in the area due to the wall. Think of all these ships runnin through this area btw!
In this area will still be some corals present that'll have to live with debris from ships falling, possible oil reisdue and even disease from other places in the world
This area will cause many animals to have to relocate themselves and find new homes or become victim to dredging, these dredgers don't look with their claws, all they see is sand, sand, sand. No anything else because they don't care.
On the opposite side of the cay, a development for a massive megs yacht club, thays stripping up mangroves. On one side the next eco system where fish grow and thrive is threatened and on the other side mangroves, where young fish grow, are losing a place where they can grow up and be themselves.
Rosewood.. is killing ecosystems and homes, help me make sure samspson cay isn't one.
The developer is said he could replant sea grass beds
They brought a basketball player, and soil researcher to tell the people if... the sand will be affected....
Yeah you read that right
They said they'll offer jobs
Yknow who also said that?
Disney on castaway cay
You wanna know who doesn't work their?
Bahamians. They lied, and Rosewood is most likely lying aswell! And who knows if they'll even LET bahamians be there. Castaway cay doesnt even let bahamians close to the cay despite the fact they dont own the fucking water.
Rosewood CANNOT win, or this'll set a precipice just like they did with [lighthouse, point disney] please even read up on that! Disney is also a major asshole to us.
So help me spread awareness and check out SaveExumaAlliance.com
If you wanna know more hit me up!
Rosewood are killers.. help me make sure samspon cay isn't the next

Exuma - Ballad for Sammy
Bahama Sound, Exuma.
Allan's Cay, Exuma, Bahamas: Located just 30 minutes from Nassau, horseshoe-shaped Allen Cay is the gateway to the Exumas. One of the northernmost islands in the Exumas chain, Allen Cay is home to beautiful anchorages and postcard-worthy beaches. But the real draw are the Allen’s Cay rock iguanas.
