More Discrimination
So earlier today I recieved the following e-mail from my calculus professor.
Hello Steven, how are you? I noticed based on the clicker records that you have only attended 2 lectures and 1 discussion this semester and was curious if you are intending to drop the class. I have found that students benefit the most from this class when they are attending and interacting most with their peers.
I have done the best that I can to accommodate you to this point of this class, however we are having our first midterm next week. You will need to attend class that day and take the exam with your fellow classmates.
All the best,
Dr. Yang
In other words, I can't let you take the exam in a stress free environment because it would be too difficult to have somebody else proctor you will I watch the rest of the class. Doesn't that just seem a little bit selfish. I can't fucking wait to be done with this waste of time math class. I'm a humanities student, when will I even have to use derivatives?
