…I don’t think I can really say much about this one. Ironhide is just. Tired. He doesn’t know what exactly he’s fighting for anymore half the time. The war is draining him. One day he’s going to fall down and he isn’t going to get back up. Maybe because he simply doesn’t want to.

It’s the people that he cares about, though. That’s what reminds him to keep fighting. At one point, it was mainly Orion and Ratchet, but then it was Prime and Ratchet and the rest of the original Earth team, and then it was a little family of humans that took him in. His family. Now…

Well, he’s got a lot going for him if he needs it.
