It had been a long while since anything interesting had happened in the Underground and honestly? Sans was greatful. Interesting usually meant some kind of TROUBLE and if that could be avoided, all the better. That was, in part, why he DREADED approaching the apparent Human that Alphys had alerted him about after seeing them on her cameras. A TALLER Human than the others.  Knowing the damage a CHILD could do, he couldn’t risk a possible ADULT getting to Snowdin or having his brother stumble across them and getting himself hurt. This one he HAD to intervene in. He’d been about ready to simply ATTACK the Human, take them out before they could become a threat when he noticed strange details. Markings, pointed ears, he was pretty sure those weren’t normal Human traits and it sure would be BAD if he accidentally attacked a MONSTER. Why are things always more complicated than they need to be? Appearing behind the creature as it walked, he tucked his hands into his pockets, almost falling into stride with whatever they were. When he finally spoke, his tone was CALM and casual.              ❝Never seen anythin’ like you in the Underground             before.❞

Silence had never been so loud. Moments before there were the shouts of battle, cries of fear as the Humans began invading the Fae town Morior had found home in. No-one had expected it. For years the King had been on good terms with the Fae, certainly not controlling them as none could claim such a feat but they lived in harmony with the Humans. Why then had he turned against them? Why had he rallied soldiers to attack a village devoid of soldiers, simple farmers earning a wage, their wives and children too? He wanted to blame the soldier that attacked him for this. Around his kneeling form rested the bodies of the those invaders, decayed blackened meat sloughing off pale bone but worse still was that they were not the only casualties of this outburst. The very people Morior called friends had lost their lives too, some caught mid-stride as the wave of decay washed over the town. No-one was spared. A moment of possible heroics, had he better control of his powers, would forever rest on his shoulders as the day he became a monster. So lost in this train of thought, gaze settled at the smears of black around him, he didn't even notice the sound of footsteps cautiously approaching.

Error had kept an eye on the Underswap universe, one of the MANY more persistent universes that seemed to refuse to simply DIE OUT of its own volition as some had. Much like the EDGY ABOMINATION that was Underfell, the stories in these universes persisted.  Well, it’s THANKLESS work but someone has to CLEAN UP the clutter that was the multiverse and dead universes were hardly any fun.         ❝a̕bou̶t͜ t͡ìm̵e͞ ̷i̴ c͝l̡ear͏ ̢hoúse͟ ̷h҉e̛rȩ. a̛ny̛o̵n̕e          h͟ome?̡ ❞ Though it could seem IMPULSIVE, as though he didn’t have a plan to carry out, he knew exactly what he was doing when he trudged his way toward Snowdin. He’d seen the timelines, watched for the perfect moment to meet a certain IRRITATING excitable skeleton. A useful TOOL to get this place torn apart in due time.
