Top 10 Rare Kekei Genkai With Great Potential !

There are lots of Kekei genkai (Bloodline limit) which are so underused and Rare. Here are some Kekei Genkai that got so less screen time but had great potential !

 10 ) Lava Release 

Lava Release  is a combined nature transformation kekkei genkai made up of techniques that mix fire and earth-based chakra to create volcanic materials such as lava or rubber in different properties and usages.

The are a lot of variants of Lava release , notably Rubber and molten lava. Rubber technique was a great defensive jutsu used by Dodai of Hidden Cloud.

9 ) Swift Release

Swift Release  is a combined nature transformation kekkei genkai that can be used to move with instantaneous speed, granting the user an advantage over opponents with more strength than speed, such as users of Chakra Enhanced Strength. This nature therefore renders the user invulnerable against most taijutsu.

This release is used by Hiruko who was the main antagonist of Naruto Movie : The Will Of Fire. Though no canon character is seen using this still of the most underrated yet powerful kekei genkai to have !

8 ) Crystal Release

Crystal Release  is a rare nature that is seen only in the anime, used by Guren. When Kiba Inuzuka first sees a Crystal Release structure, he mistakes it for Earth Release. Crystal Release is in fact shown being defeated by Lightning Release on one occasion, suggesting Earth Release may be a component element.

One of the beautiful looking kekei genkai in Naruto. Summoning crystal and attacking with it , is both elegant and powerful.

7) Ryūzetsu’s Kekkei Genkai

This unnamed kekkei genkai apparently allows the user to perform Reincarnation Ninjutsu as it allowed Ryūzetsu to perform the Dragon Life Reincarnation technique. It was seen only in Naruto the Movie: Blood Prison and Ryūzetsu was the only known user. Other details, such as whether it was common or rare and whether any other technique could be performed using it, are unknown.

We can compare it to Edo tensei but i think it’s more than Edo tensei . Simply because of the strange eye pattern of Ryūzetsu and his way of performing the jutsu is so different.

6) Jūgo’s Clan’s Kekkei Genkai

The kekkei genkai of Jugo’s clan is a passive ability which allows its members to absorb and make use of natural energy without any training in senjutsu. Due to the constant intake of natural energy, they are prone to mental instability, sporadically feeling sudden and uncontrollable urges to kill. The wielder’s body can also secrete special fluids which, through means of Senjutsu chakra, allow them to transform parts of their bodies.

Most useful of all the kekei Genkai out there. It’s way underrated and aside from Jugo there is no one that could directly use sage justu via their Kekei genkai .

5) Shikotsumyaku

Shikotsumyaku is a kekkei genkai which gives its wielder the ability to manipulate their own skeletal structure . By infusing their calcium with chakra, they could manipulate the growth and properties of their bones to their liking. Kaguya Ōtsutsuki manifested a similar, albeit more lethal, ability to weaponise her bone structure from which Shikotsumyaku originates. This kekkei genkai is inherited into a rare few amongst Kaguya’s descendants in the Kaguya clan, Kimimaro being the only other known inheritor of this power.

The battle minded Kaguya clan member had some great Bloodline powers. This was one of the best Offensive and Defensive type kekei Genkei.

4) Scorch Release

Scorch Release is a combined nature transformation kekkei genkai made up of techniques that mix fire and wind-based chakra to create scorching heat which is capable of heating up an enemy to the point where all the liquid inside their body evaporates, killing the victim and leaving them as a desiccated corpse.

Talk about destruction ! The hidden sand it’s shinobi have always intrigued me. Whether it’s Sasori or it’s Pakura. I hope someone from sand still has this bloodline limit.

3 ) Ice Release

Ice Release  is the combined nature transformation kekkei genkai of the Yuki clan. It allows the user to freely create and manipulate ice by simultaneously combining wind and water-based chakra. When the user releases their chakra, the surrounding vicinity becomes cold enough to cause snow to fall.The ice Haku creates is also extremely resistant to fire-based attacks, only melting slightly when coming into contact with Sasuke’s flames.

Hidden mist is full of mysteries. To this day we haven’t seen much of this county or it’s habit-ants. We have seen some great individuals and groups like “Seven Ninja Swords man” which says much about the blood line  variety of blood line limit they posses. One of them is Ice. Aside from Haku and his mother ,we didn’t really see any othe character from hidden mist use it. I would say Kisi under used his sources.

2) Explosion Release

Explosion Release  is a combined nature transformation kekkei genkai suggested to be made up of techniques that mix earth and lightning-based chakra to give the wielder the ability to utilize explosive chakra in combat.

Gari was a well noted Shinobi and a member (Captain in the anime) of the Explosion Corps during his lifetime, which served as the reason for his eventual reincarnation by Kabuto Yakushi. He demonstrated great knowledge about ninjutsu, being able to recognize a rare and forbidden technique. The fact that, in the anime, even Orochimaru desired to reincarnate him speaks further of his prowess in battle. That alone speaks how strong his kekei genkei is !

1) Tenseigan

The Tenseigan  is a dōjutsu possessed by Hamura Ōtsutsuki and his descendants. It is characterized by blue pupils and irides which contain a white, floral pattern.

Among all the dojutsu i think Tenseigan is the most under rated. Even Byakugan had decent screen time. But with Boruto ongoing , we can hope to see more with the upcoming storyline. Being one of the most powerful kekei genkei and rare … it has got massive potential among all the kekei genkei i have mentioned !
