It's funny because we make a big deal about one day and act like it can change everything but if we're powerful enough as a society to create this holiday, it's able to actually work and we can feel like something has changed positively. It’s what you make it to be. It can be another day and you can wake up and say that everything is the same or you can truly commit belief to the idea that optimism of reflecting on your year, and realizing that you have advanced another year. You are one year wiser, more experienced, more learn-ed. You are progressing even if you feel stuck.
