Science is such a glorious field, it allows you to break the bounds of what the gods never intended to let you achieve, and what most want you to not see. To open up the body, to see what exists within it and to know how it works is such a blasphemous act. Yet we do it anyways.

Does it feel nice to see the heart beat, the lungs take in air, the wriggling of everything inside? Does it bring you thought to just how all of it works together? How that too is inside of you? It feels like it should be wrong to know that much. That you're not supposed to see these, working, in motion, alive.

You know that thing on the table was once a lot like you, before the mutagens and experiments performed on it. At what point does the human stop being what it is? At perception of humanity, or until what's inside isn't the same? How beautiful yet tragic. The gods never wanted this, good mother, what have we done?

It's terrifying yet beautiful, this being you've created, life anew yet so so old of an original design, and to think that you're not even done! You have to replace the bones you had to take out, sew up the incisions, and wait for them to wake up. Then you'll do so much more to them and terrify yet intrigue yourself more.
