Hi everyone - a moment of your time. This is an update on Heidi's condition, but first a little bit more about what happened (with Heidi's blessing). It is her thought that this could be a learning experience for others - if she had trusted her instincts to go to the hospital sooner, this might not have been as serious.

After over a week of having a fever (which is seriously never a good sign) she went to the hospital. They found two (huge, HUGE) abscesses on her liver. In an attempt to take control of the situation, they nicked her liver causing her body to be septic and this caused her kidneys to shut down. Thankfully her kidneys started working again (about 36 hours in), but this is a long road to recovery. She's home and in a great deal of pain. There is still a chance that she'll need surgery, but we're all hoping for the best.

As I said before,I am not a religious person, but even science recognizes the power of prayer. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts/prayers. Please take a moment to send some good vibes and love in Heidi’s direction - it might (will) help with her recovery. She had a moment to read all the lovely comments on the last post and said it really raised her spirits. 

Please reblog and get the word out that she continues to need our moral support while she heals.

My dear friend Heidi, of Exotic Elements, has not been doing so well lately. I knew she was feeling flu-ish earlier this year, but this became serious and quite quickly. She has been in the hospital for the past few days. I'm not entirely clear on the details, but I just spoke with her by telephone - she's in good spirits, but still - I am concerned. Hospitals these days have a habit of pushing people out the door to recover at home. That they are keeping her in the hospital is pretty much a huge sign.

I am not a religious person, but even science recognizes the power of prayer. If you could take a moment to send some prayers / good vibes / love in Heidi's direction - it might help with her recovery.

So between Pocci and Heidi, the diagonal position of the faux arch finally works correctly.(Heidi says "Pocci did all the work." and Pocci says "I did only a little." BAH! Both of ya's . . . . awesome!!

You can see the shelf/column doesn't place as well on the diagonal as it's narrower (and the ALT cheat will be needed to align it correctly on the diagonal [not the normal version] - WITHOUT MoveObjects cheat please - you want to make sure it doesn't hit the sweet spot in the center [the placement turns green when it's okay to place]). Turns out workshop doesn't like to have it's settings fiddled with, but the s3pe plugin was the key work around.

Thank you ladies!! Very excited. Nearly every tutorial out there said this could not be done.
