Affarwat Peak. The phase 2 of Gulmarg Gondola takes you to what is called the Affarwat peak! When you visit Kashmir, you see snow capped mountains around and wonder if someone could just pick you up and put there. Whooaaa! Phase 2 is this wish come true! You stand on one of those peaks and wonder if you are still on earth!🙂 . At an altitude of approximately 14,000 ft., the views from here are just stunning! Make sure you are wearing proper warm layers, cap and gloves because the winds are deadly! In all excitement, we forgot to carry our gloves and as a result within minutes of reaching, we just couldn't feel our hands! We were all numb and hence couldn't click much pictures too!
