So, few days back, news did rounds that Himachal government is officially banning camping in #kheerganga . 🍁 🍁 Also, with that a rider came along for the trekkers/tourists that, if those who go up trekking upto kheerganga, have to collect back trash on the way while descending back. Still not aware about the news authenticity but definitely is a one step forward towards a painful realisation that how do we usually treat the place while we explore and get those instagammable pictures!!! And often fail to realise about the mess that we invariably create up there . 🍁 🍁 Infact, it really cause me concern having to witness the impending situation up there on my short trek in April this year . I am not saying here that I am lucky enough that I could camp up in #kheerganga that time, before this rule came out . But, trying to self analyse my bit that what all mess did I, as well contribute to? 🍁 🍁 I think, we as responsible traveler , if we can self reflect on ourself a bit that how can we possibly contribute towards a greener and cleaner #incredibleIndia and mark our country as a clean nation on the tourist Radar of the world .
