Things Iâll never say to you, part 1
There are many things that have been running through my mind these past few days. Quite a few thoughts and phrases are echoing, but one in particular sticks out âIâll always be the villain in your story.â Hereâs the thing, though, you will never be a villain in any story because of me. I will always and forever be the first to jump to your defense in any conversation.
Itâs is not my job to help others form their opinion of you. In fact, I donât really want to be the person that forces an opinion on them. I own up to my mistakes when talking to others. If they have questions about situations or conversations, Iâll send them screenshots of the entire conversation. Not just the parts where I say all of the right things. I will be brutally honest about what happened and what I said. If they decide that you are the bad guy after reading those conversations, thatâs on them, not me because I promise you that I jumped to your defense multiple times and tried to soften their opinion. Can you say youâd do the same for me? Or would you rather just allow those around you to believe that I was the one always in the wrong? I think I know your answer.
