How About We Forget About, “No Pain, No Gain”? It’s been 18 years, it’s misleading, and we should stop using that #exercisemotto. No, we should never workout until we feel pain or fight through the pain. I think spend 90% of my time as a coach trying to convince athletes to slow down. There’s a method to improving our performance for specific goals and that’s allowing our bodies to rest and recover so that we can come back and do the prescribed workouts properly - hitting specific paces/efforts. We can chat more about this tomorrow during the @prehab_usa Running Club group run. We are meeting here: 6:00 PM CENTRAL PARK (Columbus circle entrance at 8th Ave and 59th Street) 👉 SHARE THIS with someone who needs to hear this! _ #nycgrouprun #prehabrunningclub #nopainnogain #startrunning #improverunning #nycrunningcoach (at Central Park Columbus Circle) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEAc4wPn7eo/?igshid=193ulxe0wyjj6
