Sooo... Are we just gonna gloss over the Famine in Ukraine during 1921-1923, 1932-1933, and 1946-1947? Like it wasn't a man-made one and the grain wasn't taken from people with no regard for their well-being, with the purpose of extermination?
Are we going to ignore the Red Terror? When communists killed everyone who didn't agree with their ideology? Mind you, these were not only the rich.
Are we going to ignore the Executed Renaissance? When communists killed all the writers, poets and artists for their "anti-communist" and "counter-revolutionary" activity? Even though they themselves (communists) have previously allowed it? Matter of fact, they encouraged it.
They implemented a policy of indigenization in order to make themselves look better in the eyes of intellectuals, and then, once they became "dangerous" for the regime, they were silenced. Killed or forced to work for propaganda.
