#exe x reader

EXETIOR:

He was just minding his own business torturing another poor human soul until here you come out of nowhere-

"Hey, Exe~" you teased, playfully poking at his cheek as he groaned haphazardly with a grin,

"yes, my Dearest?" He looks to you with a raised brow as you quickly peck him on the nose. He shakes his head in surprise with wide eyes as his face begins to match his eyes. You both begin laughing in delight as EXE scoops you up and straddles you in his arms.

Lord X:

It was yet another passing day in PC Port. A bored Lord X sits on his throne of hands with a sigh, staring off into the empty screen window in the game's sky. He was never particularly happy or sad on days like these. Just bored. And he didn't really smile. You ran up to him with a big toothy grin, looking up at him with big (e/c) eyes as he looked back and blushed a bit at the eyes he found so cute.

"Yes, Y/n?" He asked expectantly, he voice was brooding and monotone as he stared at you, you simply climbed your way up the throne and pecked his nose affectionately, causing a slow smile to creep onto Lord X's complexion whilst his cheeks ignited in pink. Needless to say, I think you cured his boredom.

EYX:

You were off in the other room of your house grabbing some snacks while you watched (Fav Show), and in the background you heard what sounded like demonic tongue. EYX came in again. You giggled as he slowly sauntered downstairs and saw you, his pupil enlarging with love as he caught your sights. As you turned back around, snacks in arms you kissed his nose on the way out of the kitchen, causing a VERY large pupil, stiff ears, and a hefty shiver from the eldritch hedgehog.

"Catch ya off guard, Sweet Thing?" You mused as he nodded, following you to watch (Fav Show) while he cozied into your lap, similarly to a cat wanting affection.

Faker:

You had only been with Faker for a while now but you learned that he LOVES surprises, fear or not if it's a shock, he endorses it! So you decide to give him a lil' taste of it.

"Hey Y/n! Good to see you!" Faker spoke behind you, breaking you out of your trance as he smiled affectionately at you. You greeted him back, looking him over like you usually do. There's no blood marks on him this time around, which is out of character for him but you shrugged it off.

As you two chat off, you interrupt Faker by pecking his nose, causing him to stop everything. His expression goes blank as does his mind. His face slowly turns rose red as he quickly stiffens and covers his face in fluster while you just playfully giggle.

(Y/N POV)

Mommy and Daddy finally got me the game of my dreams! They got me Sonic the Hedgehog! My Mom handed me the game with a big smile on her face as she looked at me with smiling eyes.

"Alright Hun, you can go play Sonic til dinner time, sound good?" I nodded and quickly ran upstairs, putting the game into our console and picking up the controller with lots of excitement.

"Oh! I almost forgot!" I got up and quickly grabbed my Sonic plushie and sat him next to me before hearing the classic theme playing, I sat up, giggling, and waggled my finger with Sonic until I saw the screen flash something weird, it was super quick but I did see a lot of red.

EXE POV:

I felt a strange warmth in my dimension as I stood up and smiled devilishly,

"Another ignorant human soul to reap, this'll be fun." I looked up through the screen to find out who my victim was to find... It's a child!? I stared, conflicted as they chose Tails. I put a past victim's soul into Tails as per usual but... I felt so conflicted. Yes I'm a mess and a monster but I'm not heartless, it is still a kid with a life waiting for them. Perhaps humoring them would be better, besides, I can simply reap their parents' souls.

After Hill, I decided to reroute my game to play like the real one, with my assistance through difficult levels as an added perk, I'd help them kill their bosses, teleport them away from harm, and even on certain times just talk to them and even come out of the game to be their "imaginary friend" as they call it.

3rd Person POV:

After a long day of gaming, you yawned quite audibly.

"You seem tired, Little One." EXE said softly, forcefully pausing the game as you nodded in response, turning off the game, and climbing into bed while saying goodnight to the plush and EXE.

Once you were asleep, EXE teleported into your parent's room and strangled them unconscious before taking their souls and burying their lifeless vessels.

You awake the next morning in confusion. Your parents were nowhere to be found, as you sat in your room and sobbed into the Sonic plushie you heard rustling next to you to see EXE floating there with confusion on his face.

"What troubles you, Little One?" He asked, sympathy in his tone as he sat with you. You sniffled and tearfully told him you couldn't find your parents. EXE looked at you sympathetically and hugged you tight,

"Perhaps... I could be your parent in their absence... Would that brighten your mood, Little One?"

You nodded happily as you hugged EXE tight...

I looked at (Friend's Name) in disbelief,

"You expect me to believe that a game can kill someone, please! The MOST it'll do is kill brain cells and damage your eyes" I nonchalantly explained, taking the disc and putting my hands on my hips sassily.

"But Y/n c'mon you gotta play it, it's said that if you play it, you'll get an entity following you right out of the game!" They exclaimed excitedly, I simply crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow, cocking my head to the side,

"And what do I get out of this?" I asked, clearly annoyed with the situation I'm being brought with. (Friend's Name) simply looked at me with dropped eyes and boredly lectured me on how I study too much and should take a break once in a while and blah blah. So I reluctantly agreed, mostly to get them to shut up.

"Just know this doesn't mean I'm going to believe in this hokey-pokey shit." I retorted as they left, (Friend's Name) just snorted and waved goodbye, shutting the door. I looked down at the disc in my hand and read it...

"Sonic.EXE, huh? What a joke..." I muttered, sauntering to my room and lazily sitting at my computer and inserting the disc, upon inserting it a window pops up and automatically fullscreens. Into my view I see the Sonic The Hedgehog 1 menu pop onto my screen and I grin, rolling my eyes only to be replaced with a confused and bewildered expression as the screen flashes for a split moment yet I couldn't pinpoint what the screen was. Once the character selection screen opened it was... Different, the background was crimson red and the music was disturbing and mildly distorted. The characters available for selection were Tails, Knuckles (who was locked), and strangely, Dr. Robotnik (who was also locked).

"Huh, this is kinda cool... I guess." I said quite monotoned, actually rather bored with this 'game' that (Friend's Name) gave me. Once the level had started I saw the Tails sprite and the level bubble read 'Hill, Act 1' which was quite different from what I know was in the original.

"Hill? I thought it was Green Hill Zone?" I questioned to myself, pressing forward since the level was just a beeline. As I went through I began to see sprites of dead animals everywhere which caused a shiver up my spine as I gulped, repeating to myself 'its just a game, it's just a game'

"(Friend's Name) what did you give me?" I whispered as I saw what looked like Sonic, Tails then walked up to the supposed Sonic and taps his shoulder. The Sonic creature opens it's eyes to reveal hollow sockets with red orbs inside whilst blood dripped down his face. The screen went black, and white text appeared on the screen and read 'Hello, do you want to play with me?' I quickly shook my head in panic and saw that a very frightened Tails was put into a burning level labeled 'Hide And Seek' so I quickly press the forward button and Tails books it.

A couple seconds later I hear a jarring demonic laugh and see that Sonic EXE creature flying after Tails, and gaining ground quick. I began to panic the closer he got until he disappeared and Tails just... Stopped. I relax for a moment for seeing the creature reappear next to Tails and kill him gruesomely.

I sat in my chair, dumbfounded and mildly scared, breathing heavily. As I'm regaining my sorts I begin to feel watched and quickly whip my head around to find nothing there. I run my hand through my hair in paranoia and stand from my chair to go get a glass of water.

"Wh-What a dumb game, it isn't even real, I just need a small break for some water is all." I remind myself, the watched feeling growing until I hear a deep, shallow voice speak behind me.

"I assure you I am very real y/n~" it speaks into my ear, I drop my glass in the sink and turn around quickly to see the EXE creature from in the game standing in front of me, grinning devilishly at me, I look away in fear and analyze any ways I could use to get out before he grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him, eyeing me up and down.

"Such a delicate, innocent soul. What might have brought you to play such vile games~?" He whispered in my ear making me shudder a bit, I hesitantly told him that (Friend's Name) gave me the disc and told me to play it. The creature chuckled darkly and looked into my eyes.

"Well... I won't kill you yet I suppose, you are quite the interesting little vessel after all. Why let you go to waste~?" He questioned to himself, grinning slyly and leaning down to my neck and biting down hard on my collarbone, drawing blood and licking it clean until it stopped. I squeaked loudly at the contact and went mildly limp, shuddering as he licked my neck before getting extremely dizzy.

"You belong to me now, y/n~" was the last thing I heard before falling into a deep sleep and waking up on my bed, my computer off, daylight shining, and phone next to me. I picked up my phone and saw that it was the next day, the disc was nowhere to be found and any trace of it on my computer was wiped. 'maybe it was a dream?' I thought to myself as I rushed to the bathroom and checked my neck, a deep purple mark with deep teeth marks in my skin was embedded on my collarbone. At the sight of it my heart dropped, and as I walked back to my room I saw a bloodied Sonic plush sitting at the center of my bed with a note next to it written in blood reading:

'It wasn't a dream y/n. You are MINE.'
