it’s been a long day. this city is too big and too unfamiliar and too... everything at once. not to mention this itch Jed’s had since arriving. so familiar and so annoying, the need to just. give into his vices. not that he was trying to escape them, but going after this fat cat with a god-awful toupee was so convenient. Jed’s not impulsive. it’s just no one would miss this guy, especially after he drunkenly bothered some girls at the bar. plus, he could finally scratch that fucking itch.

so the moment Jed saw him head for the fire escape to the cool alley outside, he knew it was go time. or at least it would’ve been, up until he found his victim at his feet.
