Bada and Haon release BC Portal song “Can’t Love You Anymore”

Studio Choom has released a new video through their YouTube channel featuring Chroma’s leader Bada. The video is part of an ongoing series of dance covers and dance videos featuring idols with a special talent for dancing. The lead dancer of BC’s latest girl group showcases her dance skills with a cover of Bishopp Briggs’ River.

The video starts with Bada dancing by herself in an all-black ensemble with only a chair for a prop. Dancing in heels, Bada is able to showcase not only her dancing as well as her flexibility and balance. We’re then shown a change of costume, with Bada this time wearing a blue outfit as well as boots and being joined by dancers. Between those changes, there’s also a change of dance style, which allows for Bada to show her versatility.

Versatility seems to be a good word to describe Chroma’s leader, for she’s just recently been revealed to have been crowned the King of Mask Singer for a week, right after her solo OST for the show The Producers, “Palpitations”, managed to chart in the top 100 of Gaon’s Digital Chart. The sub-unit of her group Bada’s part of, Chroma Crystal, is currently promoting their single “Girl Front”.

On the most recent episode of King of Mask Singer, the identity of Pearl was revealed to be Chroma’s leader Bada!

Bada performed “A Friend’s Confession” for the first battle round and won against her competitor by a score of 18-3. In the next round, she performed “A Smart Choice” solo and beat out her competitor’s solo performance by a vote of 19-2. For the third round, she performed “In The Dream” and won by a closer vote of 14-7 before going on to beat out the currently reigning king 15-6.

In the most recent episode, she returned to defend her crown with a cover of Lucid’s “Rough”, but was dethroned by a close vote of 10-11.

Her appearance on King of Mask Singer was Bada’s first solo variety appearance. She released her pre-debut solo single “Eclipse” in January as the first member of Chroma to be revealed and featured on the soundtrack of the drama The Producers recently. She is currently promoting “Girl Front” with the group’s first sub-unit Chroma Crystal.

The soundtrack of KBS drama Th Producer’s original soundtrack has been released onto streaming sites today ahead of the airing of the show’s fourth episode. For the soundtrack, Chroma member Bada sings an upbeat confession song “Palpitations”.

Bada was revealed to the public as the first member and leader of BC Entertainment’s new girl group Chroma in January. This Bada’s first ever OST.

The Producers airs every Friday and Saturday at 21:15 on KBS2.
