Over all it was pretty nice but some things did confuse me like vincent behaviour i thought he's entire thing was that he doesn't waste lives but he ordered one of his soldiers to kill himself to make a point and got one of his divine generals on a suicidal mission just to have the knights save him

Im really confused about it it doesn't feel like it lines up with the vincent from arc7

Another question i got is Reinhard said that before fighting cecilus he drew the dragon sword 2 times when did he do that who was he fighting?

I liked the new details about the crystal palace dear lord that is one secure castle

City destroying laser canon uptop anti magic measures within at least 3 divine generals on staff and the entire thing is one giant spirit They make lagunica look lazy when it comes to protecting their rulers

Balleroy was interesting but i didn't realise the miles both he and flop knew was the corpes merchant from ex1 till i checked the wiki tho so i kinda think it should have been addressed that it's the same miles

Cecilus was Also peak as per usual and he is also a perfect example of how dumb the laws surrounding the strongest in the different kingdoms are

Cecilus just ran across the border and could have done so unnoticed if wanted to he was only caught because he ran into 2 of the 5 people in this kingdom who know how he looks and even then they couldn't make him leave since reinhard wasn't around

There's nothing stopping the 4 strongest from coming together and deciding "ay look guys feel free to swing by my country just stay incognito and don't cause trouble and even if someone sees you don't worry im the only one who can make you leave and if you behave i don't care what your doing" and no can tell them no

Hell considering cecilus mentioned he's been to karagai i wouldn't be surprised if he at least regularly ignored that law and went wherever he feels like and he gets away with because most of the population wouldn't know what he looks like

That law is so easy to circumvent i wouldn't be surprised if all the other strongest just put on a disguise and ignore it and Reinhard only follows that rule because he's a good boi and thinks all the other strongest follow it to

Besides that im now convinced the reason nearly everyone in the empire is a massive asshole is because cecilus sucked up all the niceness in the empire at birth

Seriously they bait you so hard in arc7 making you think this guy is absolutely awful with him being unpopular in the might makes right empire despite being the strongest because of his personality alone

And then reveal cecilus is the chillest man in vollachia he likes to fight he's polite if a bit oblivious he's a bit of a drama queen he likes swords

He's only unpopular because vollchia is irreversibly messed up morally and being strong and a nice person makes you a monster for some god forsaken reason
