“Hello and welcome,” Peter greeted as they stepped inside his fine establishment. The Saloon was his pride and joy. He’d brought it up from a dive, a crappy little hole in the wall, to what it was today. A place for people to eat and mingle... He loved it. The atmosphere was relaxed, but fun, and easily his favorite place to be. “You want a table? Or would you rather sit at the bar?” he asked with a friendly smile. 

“Well that certainly wasn’t what I was expecting to read while waiting for my coffee.” Arielle said as she stood in line in the coffee shop, pretty much just talking into the air, though she turned to the person behind her. “Like, really. What’s next? They’re going to start killing off submissives who aren’t the mayor? It’s sick that they’d kill him. Even though I totally get why people were against him taking office, but like... He was still one of us. Doesn’t it freak you out too though? To know that there’s a killer among us? Or do you think the killer ran from town? I hope so. I don’t want to think there’s a killer waiting to kill us all just because we go outside of our homes.”

“If you want you can come closer. I am not sure if wandering these streets alone is a smart move after everything that happened tonight”

Lila stepped into the diner and went to take a seat at the counter. She was nervous and kept glancing back and forth, like she was expecting someone? Or, more likely, that she was worried she was going to get caught. “Coffee, black,” she told the waitress as she slid onto the stool. She drummed her fingers on the counter, on edge, and twitchy. She shouldn’t be here, but for fucks sake, she was an adult! Couldn’t she do whatever she wanted, whenever? As long as her father didn’t find out, she’d be fine... Which meant she was going to make this fast. 

Leticia suspected her brother would lose his mind if he couldn’t keep an eye on her after the news, so when he had to open his bar, she came with him, and just decided to hang out. So staying sober as she had to, she just wandered around, trying to find someone to hang out with while she stayed occupied. Wandering over to someone who had a free seat by them, leaned over the back of it a little, smiling to them. “Do you mind if a girl sits down with you? Not really feeling like hanging alone after the news today.”
