“Please do,” Peter said as his cook brought out her plate. He thanked him before he went back off to the kitchen and he smiled. “See, just for you, I promise, I will treat you like the princess you are whenever you visit.” Down in the restaurant at least. He did a booming laugh at her comment and laid a hand palm up on the table. “Let’s compare, then, see if you’re right.” Ahh, the smirk was back. Behave yourself, old man. “Easy. Taken you over my lap and spanked you.” 

“It can be but if you are with someone who makes you feel safe, then you will be fine Arielle. I promise.” He assured with a gentle smile. “Sometimes it is good to step out of your comfort zone, a little. The valley is good. I am glad my sister got to grow up here, where it is safe, but it does not challenge us very much. Sometimes people need a little challenge.” Then he laughed, “Paris? I have never been. Although it is said to be very romantic.”

“Well, I’ll just hold you to your promise then. And if it strikes badly, I’ll just come cry to Leticia.” she warned him with a teasing tone. It wasn’t like it was unknown who his sister was. And she’d met the younger Ruiz multiple times in the past anyways. “Like what challenges, sir?” The blonde asked as they were making their way forward in the line slowly, her looking back over to him. “Perhaps you should bring your submissive there?”

Odette’s gaze was on her lap, anxiously picking at her nails, and had to keep reminding herself to breathe. When the cup was placed in front of her, she slowly looked up and attempted a small smile. “They have, it’s- understandable, I just… I wish I knew… something, anything, you know?” she sighed and picked up the cup, mostly for warmth. “I- I’m just- it’s a lot. I’m in shock, like, why did this happen? I can’t- I don’t even know.” She wasn’t making a whole lot of sense, but his kindness was making her eyes well up again and lord she did not want to cry again. She couldn’t seem to stop. 

A knowing look crossed her face. “Oh I definitely know I can assure you,” she confirmed as the other girl took a seat. “I’m sorry, no dogs today, just the goon squad over there,” Leila pointed at the two bodyguards sat a few tables over. “Doubling them and the assurance that I would just come here, and here alone is the only reason I got allowed out today.” A sigh escaped her lips as she confessed the fact, sometimes she wished the protection wasn’t necessary “I think my brother would prefer if I wasn’t out of his sight today but he’s dealing with freaked out parents and understand that it was better for me to get out of the way.”

“It’s fine, I’ll just cuddle the pups another day. Or trick Gabe into adopting some so that I can have pups at home and here to cuddle.” She told her with a soft little chuckle. It would be nice to cuddle pups at home too. Get to pull them into bed with her and snuggle all night long. Glancing over to the guys, she gave them a little wave. “Well, you know Gabe won’t let anything wrong happen in here after all.” She told her softly, nodding her head. “Yeah, our brothers can be a bit... Overly protective. But at least they love us, and that’s more than others can say.”

“It is, but, what can you do?” Lila replied with a shrug, since she hadn’t figured out a way yet. “I’ll keep that in mind though, thanks.” Wait, did she just say that? So weird. “But… that’s normal, right? Shouldn’t we be allowed to act out? Push the boundaries?” she wondered, and shot her a look, like… help? “Ah, well, good for you, though. You’re really lucky.” She wasn’t at all jealous. Nope. “I can’t say I know a lot of hip hop. Any recommendations?” 

Gabe nodded in agreement. It was good to see the young taking sensible positions about their futures. After all, it seemed very foolish to him to simply deny human nature. “I have been there yes. It is fine. A lovely city…. too big for my tastes now but still a delightful place to visit. I’m sure your Dominant will be happy to escort you there some time to see it. It is a very romantic city to visit.”
