Yeah, yknow. Makes sense that he wouldn't treat them better than his npcs. Every adventure has been a threat to their physical body or mind, he becomes increasingly dismissive or actively hostile to any sort of criticism, violates their autonomy at every chance he can, he doesn't care or mourn when they effectively die, he rejects any chance to actually connect with Zooble cause he's already "fixed" their problem. Zooble was right all along, the only thing holding him back was that he was trying to appeal to them and when that stopped working... Well... Why bother even trying?
I still have great sympathy for this entity brought into a world and abandoned. Unable to truly understand humanity, unable to be good at the one thing that brings him fulfilment. Straining at the edges of his tiny little box trying to push himself to making something that they'd finally give him validation for... Yet I'm not surprised in the least at this turn. He's never cared about their well being. He's never cared about their mental state or giving them what they want. He's a fuckin faulty prompt generator being asked to do life support.
